Some of the people I meet remain in a ‘professional’ relationship – now our workshops are far from formal, but I mean that we chat during this and very little after. However, some people become more, and its wonderful making friends along the way. I know our teachings have a certain level of impact to others’ lives, but I rarely stop to think that actually all of these lovely individuals are having an impact on mine. It makes me want to spend more time with people. Get to know more people and give back the time and energy that people give me. This has all spurred from unfortunately losing Lee recently. Today Me and some colleagues attended a beautiful funeral service remembering his life and honouring his memory. But it did make me realise how our paths aren’t really set and we should make the most of everyone we come into contact with. So I just wanted to write a small entry about this. It may be a quick chat with your morning coffee, someone you work with or an old friend. But we meet a lot of people along the way and life can get busy, but just take this as a gentle reminder… Make time for amazing people, because they’ll sure as hell make time for you. Message someone now.
Ask how their week has been. Connect and make the most of it! Rest well buddy – For Lee. |
